News 30 October 04 The Angels are back with a new website, a new bassist, a new single, and a new tour! Details on the home and music pages.20 September 04 Out of the Blue, a compilation CD of some of Manchester's finest upcoming bands, is to be released on the 4th of October on the Blue Cat label. More details here.22 May 04 The lineup for Unity Festival in Castlefields Arena has been confirmed. Desolation Angels will be appearing alongside The Music, Badly Drawn Boy, Haven, Lemn Sissay, and many others! The Festival starts at noon on Sunday 30th May, and entrance is free. Pick up a copy from Piccadilly Records.27 September 03 There's going to be a Johnny Cash Tribute Night at the Night and Day cafe, and the Angels have been invited to lend their interpretation of a few classics. The notorious swamp-blues band Bonebox will be also playing, and it's all happening on October 13th.14 September 03 Back from the studio with a great sounding album in hand, the band have announced a few more gigs: Saturday 27th September at the Night and Day in Manchester, and Friday 10th October at the Bull and Gate in London.28 July 03 The Angels have returned to Magic Garden Studios for a month to record their debut album. |
